Dimitrios obtained his Chemical Engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens in 2000 and his PhD degree in 2006 from the same school. He has collaborated with the Hellenic Petroleum refineries in Attica, Greece, for more than 15 years, on laboratory procedures preparation, gaining particularly useful experience in safe laboratory operation and ISO certification procedures. He has also been working for the Hellenic Air Force Academy as a Lecturer by contract since 2007, in the fields of Chemistry and Fuels. He joined the Laboratory of Polymer Technology and the PolymeReEng group in 2009 as Laboratory Teaching and Research Staff. He has worked in more than 10 National and International research projects and has published his work in several peer-reviewed journals and in national and international conferences and workshops.
